Kleinkloof is a working olive farm in the folds of the Piketberg Mountains; unhurried, private, and naturally beautiful rather than styled or manicured. It offers real character and unique charm – with enough space for each couple’s vision to take shape in its own way. Two distinct spaces — the Farmshed and the Wisteria Tunnel — sit within the heart of the farm, framed by olive groves and far-reaching views towards the Winterhoek mountains. Sleep up to 24 guests across six self-catering cottages on the farm.

Discover Kleinkloof’s main reception space: a modern steel-framed barn-style wedding venue with high ceilings, clean lines and a wraparound terrace overlooking the farm and valley. Six self-catering cottages accommodate bridal parties, families and close friends across a two-night stay. Each is privately set within the farm, with its own garden, plunge pool and wood-fired outdoor hot tub. Understated interiors and considered details; somewhere to unwind the night before and recover the morning after.
An in-house bar space (liquor licence still under application) supports celebrations throughout the day and into the night, with a curated range of beverages tailored to each event. The team works closely with each couple to build a drinks menu that feels personal and true to the tone of the day. All beverages are exclusive to Kleinkloof Olive Farm, with limited corkage available. Nominal rental fee for the bar area – complete with bar, under counter and bar back fridges.

4. How many guests can Kleinkloof accommodate for a wedding? The Wisteria Tunnel terrace can accommodate a marquee or stretch tent for up to 120 guests. For exact capacity details on the Farmshed, couples are encouraged to enquire directly as layouts can be tailored to each event.
5. Is there on-site accommodation for wedding guests? Yes. Kleinkloof has six self-catering cottages on the farm, sleeping up to 24 guests in total. Each cottage is privately positioned with its own garden, plunge pool and wood-fired outdoor hot tub — ideal for the bridal party, immediate family, and close friends to stay for a two-night wedding weekend.
6. Can we have both the ceremony and reception at Kleinkloof? Absolutely. The Wisteria Tunnel is a stunning outdoor ceremony space, and the Farmshed serves as the main reception venue. The two spaces flow naturally through the wedding day — from a late-afternoon ceremony under the wisteria canopy, to cocktails on the terrace, a candlelit feast, and dancing that spills out into the evening air.
7. Does Kleinkloof have a bar and can we bring our own alcohol? Kleinkloof has an in-house bar space (liquor licence currently under application) and works with each couple to create a personalised drinks menu. All beverages are exclusive to Kleinkloof Olive Farm. Limited corkage is available. There is a nominal rental fee for use of the bar area, which includes a bar counter, under-counter and bar-back fridges.
8. Is Kleinkloof a dry-hire venue or does it include catering? Kleinkloof operates as a venue hire option, giving couples the flexibility to bring in their own preferred caterers and suppliers. 9. What is the best time of year to get married at Kleinkloof? The Swartland enjoys warm, dry summers (October through April) which are ideal for outdoor ceremonies and al fresco dining. The Wisteria Tunnel is particularly beautiful in spring when the wisteria is in bloom. The Farmshed’s enclosed design and wraparound terrace also make it a workable space for shoulder-season weddings.
